Working Principle: During operation, the motor drives the main shaft to rotate at a constant speed through a pair of pulleys. The main shaft is equipped with flying knives that rotate at high speed. The material freely falls from the elevator into the feed hopper and is chopped by the high-speed rotating knives. Due to centrifugal force, the material falls through the kidney-shaped holes of the screen into the hopper, and then is pumped to the next process by a feed pump.

The advantage of the hammer mill crusher is that the granularity of the crushed material is consistent, determined by the screen with kidney-shaped holes.
