Rules studying in China

What rules do I need to follow when studying in China?

The behavior of international students in China will be subject to the laws of the People's Republic of China concerning foreigners, local regulations, and the university discipline and regulations. The local exit-entry administration, police stations and colleges and universities share the responsibility for the management of students.
At the time of admission, the school will provide guidance on the code of conduct and campus rules and regulations for freshmen of this year. In addition, the Exit and Entry Administration and police stations will hold lectures on public safety knowledge from time to time.
For the legal provisions that foreigners (international students) need to comply with, please refer to the "Notes on Studying in China - Laws and Regulations" section of this website.

International students holding X visas who have the need for off-campus internships or part-time jobs during their studies may, with the approval of the school, submit to the exit-entry administration of the public security organ a letter from the school and the internship unit agreeing to work study or off-campus internships to apply for a residence permit. After the admission, students can engage in off-campus internship activities in the internship unit; If not noted, work study or internship outside of school is not allowed. Please note that your internship cannot extend beyond the expiration date of your residence permit.
If you are looking for an internship, get it through professional, formal channels, such as on-campus student services or information platforms.

Finally, I wish all the students a fulfilling, happy, positive and unforgettable study abroad journey in China!
